Aston Martin Rapide Shooting Brake could enter limited production

Aston Martin Rapide Shooting Brake

Aston Martin is considering putting the one-off Geneva-debuting Bertone Jet 2+2 concept into limited production as the Aston Martin Rapide Shooting Brake, reports Autocar UK.

If given the go-ahead, the estate will be Aston?s range-topper, the British publication says, adding that both Aston and Bertone really want to make it happen. The Italian styling house will build the car in Turin if fewer than 10 units are to be made; otherwise, the British firm will build it in Gaydon, Warwickshire.

Based on the?standard Rapide?(not the?Rapide S), the Bertone Jet 2+2 was created as a one-off specially for a car collector,?celebrating?100 years of Aston Martin?and 60 years of collaboration between the British marque and Bertone.
